Profiles of Employment

Employers 11.1%

  • 85.1% of their businesses are formalized
  • 18.2% consider as a process complicated and costly the formalization
  • 20% if dedicated mainly to retail trade

Dependents 42.7%

  • 76.9% work under formal contracts with subscription to the Social Security Fund
  • 13.7% work in relationships labor informal, without contract formal
  • 10.6% face an unemployment rate of, which highlights the challenges in the search for employment

Independents 46.1%

  • 18.2% are dedicated to sales commercials, this being one of the most common occupations in this group
  • 29.7% do not issue invoices due to customer preference not to receive them.
  • People aged 18 to 30 earn on average B/. 738 per month, while those aged 31 to 40 earn B/. 1.177 per month
